Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Valeriy Zaykin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bruce Wayne has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Valeriy Zaykin's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zaykin is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Wayne's half guard.
Zaykin is stalling here. Wayne is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Zaykin seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Wayne has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Wayne wants to lay and pray for a moment but Zaykin keeps working.
Wayne is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Zaykin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Bruce Wayne has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

and Zaykin decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Wayne's guard.

Zaykin postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Wayne is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Zaykin, into his guard.

Zaykin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wayne doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wayne manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Zaykin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wayne can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Wayne tries to free his leg and advance position but Zaykin is retaining full guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Zaykin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Wayne defends it easily.

Zaykin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wayne gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Zaykin isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Wayne stacks Zaykin on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Wayne!

Wayne seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Wayne is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Zaykin defends it well.

Wayne wants to control the pace but Zaykin is squirming around nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Zaykin shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Zaykin has control of Wayne's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Wayne regains control of the situation pretty easily.

He's locked it up tight! Wayne's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Zaykin picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
