Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Trent Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Crafty Dog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crafty Dog will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Donatello Bradman and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dog throws a body punch but Morgan moves out of range.
Morgan lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Morgan takes a shot to the body in his stride.
A combination from Dog does no damage.
Dog displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Morgan throws out the jab.

Morgan moves into range and clinches up with Dog.
Dog tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Morgan just stands there and leans against the cage.
Dog drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Morgan gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Morgan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Morgan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Dog takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Morgan clinches up with Dog and pushes him back against the cage.

Dog is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Morgan.

Morgan's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Dog connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Morgan scrambles back to his feet.

Dog is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Dog throws a lazy right hand but Morgan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Morgan throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Dog's head.
Morgan throws a hook to the side of Dog's head but Dog sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Morgan has closed the distance and engaged Dog in a clinch.
Morgan keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Dog's efforts to push away.
Dog tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Morgan just stands there and leans against the cage.
Trent Morgan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Crafty Dog.

Morgan dips to his left and cracks Dog with an uppercut!
Good leg kick by Morgan there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Dog misses with an uppercut.
Dog with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Morgan to score with a decent uppercut.
Dog thows a left - swing and a miss!
Crunch! Morgan slams his shin into Dog's torso.

Dog throws an off balance right hand
and Morgan counters with a slapping leg kick.
Morgan works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Morgan lands with a kick to the temple. Dog shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Morgan drives through and clinches with Dog against the cage.
Morgan comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Morgan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dog swings for the body but Morgan moves out of range.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Dog tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Morgan was well out of range. Poor timing from Dog.

Morgan drops Dog with a big knee straight up the middle! Dog is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
