Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kimbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Jagatic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jagatic fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Slice, pushing him back against the cage.
Jagatic is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Jagatic is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Slice gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Jagatic breaks the clinch.
Kimbo Slice seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jagatic rushes Slice and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Slice is trying to break the clinch but Jagatic has him pressed against the cage.

Jagatic is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Jagatic gets to his feet - Slice follows without any prompting.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Slice enables Jagatic to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Slice manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Slice is breathing heavily.
Jagatic slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Slice wants to get back to his feet but Jagatic drags him back down.

Slice takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Jagatic is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Slice's shoulder. That is not cool.

Jagatic stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Jagatic tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Slice swivels and escapes.

and Jagatic counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Jagatic.

Kimbo Slice has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mario Jagatic.
Jagatic tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Jagatic changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Slice fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Slice tries to keep at a distance but Jagatic has taken the fight into the clinch.

Jagatic gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Slice is looking to stand up but Jagatic isn't so interested in that idea.

Jagatic decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Slice, up you get!

Jagatic has hold of one of Slice's legs. Slice is fighting the takedown attempt but Jagatic gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Jagatic in particular looking to stall.
Slice has hold of Jagatic's hands but Jagatic slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Jagatic decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jagatic shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Slice sprawls well. Slice wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jagatic gets slowly back to his feet.
Jagatic fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Slice avoids it really well and circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Jagatic struggles to land a body shot inside as Slice controls his hands.
Jagatic jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Slice walks away with a smile on his face. Jagatic gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Slice connects with a right hand. Jagatic shakes it off.
Jagatic drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Slice keeps control of Jagatic as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Jagatic shoots in but Slice avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Jagatic keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Slice's efforts to push away.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Jagatic just misses with a elbow thrown towards Slice's brow.

Jagatic jumps into guard, dragging Slice to the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jagatic kicks Slice off and gets to his feet.
