The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brown shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Brown showed some decent athleticism there.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Brown throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Chow was covering up waiting for the punch and Brown finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. David Brown wasn't active enough on the ground.
Brown misses with a takedown attempt - Chow sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Brown shoots for a takedown but Chow saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Sing Chow is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Chow lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Brown shoots for a double leg takedown but Chow sprawls well. He's pushed Brown's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Chow fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Brown has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
