Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jhonny Batongbato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tito Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jhonny Batongbato!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tito Ortiz!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Batongbato fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ortiz sprawls well initially but Batongbato persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Ortiz looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Batongbato wants to work for an arm triangle but Ortiz is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Batongbato thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ortiz's head.
Ortiz tries to get to full guard but Batongbato has control of the leg.
