Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rapid Fire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ceino Rey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rapid Fire is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rapid Fire!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Ceino Rey!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rapid Fire seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Fire lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Rey has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Rey and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Fire avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Fire uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rey.

Rey connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Rey loads up on a big right hand but Fire slips the punch.

and Fire makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Rey is breathing heavily.
Fire lands a head kick. Rey smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Fire slips under a jab from Rey.

Rey walks forward, straight into a front kick from Fire.
Fire throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fire throws out a leg kick but Rey moves out of range and Fire only half commits.
Fire tries a low kick but Rey avoids it.
Fire throws a wild body kick that Rey sees coming a mile off.

That kick from Fire tenderised Rey's leg. Rey is trying to keep his angry face on.
Fire throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Fire throws a push kick but Rey slaps the foot to one side.
Nice defenses there by Fire.
Fire throws a leg kick
and Rey makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Fire throws the kick towards the body but Rey avoids it.
Rapid Fire is winning the standup battle so far.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Fire.
Rey throws a hook to the side of Fire's head but Fire sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Fire misses with a kick to the body
enabling Rey to counter with a crisp jab.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Rey misses with a straight left.
Rey chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Fire can pounce on him.
Fire misses with a head kick.
Fire throws a head kick but Rey moves out of range.
Fire misses with an attempted mid kick.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Fire misses with a body kick.
Fire throws a sloppy head kick and Rey moves out of range easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rapid Fire dominated that second round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Fire throws a leg kick which misses Rey's front leg but catches the back leg as Rey tries to avoid it.
Rey throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Fire with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Rey ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fire moves away.
Rey fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rey takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Rey sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Fire lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Fire throws a head kick but Rey moves out of range.
Rey has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Fire.

Fire throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fire looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Fire lands a nice looking body kick.
Rey has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Fire.
Fire throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Rey's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Fire is looking to slow Rey down with leg kicks.
Fire throws a head kick that misses.
Rey moves out of range of the leg kick from Fire.

Fire looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Fire bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Rey avoids the head kick by Fire.
Fire uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Rey.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Rey might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Fire has got the better of the exchanges.
