Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Katsuro Sato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Krom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sato misses the shot to the body.
Krom throws the left hand but Sato avoids the punch easily.
Krom misses with a looping left.
Krom misses with a double jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Krom misses with a hook
and Sato counters with a stiff right hand.

Krom misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sato.

Krom misses with an uppercut. Sato saw that one coming.
Sato throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Krom misses with a looping left.
Sato misses with a lunging right hand
and Krom counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Sato fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Krom to the ground. Sato is now in Krom's guard.
Sato tries to free his leg and advance position but Krom is retaining full guard.
Sato passes Krom's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Sato stops Krom from getting back to his feet.

Krom tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Sato manages to move to mount!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Sato cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Krom is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Sato looking to secure an arm triangle but Krom defends it well.

Sato is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Krom is surviving well by controlling Sato's body position as best he can.
Krom really wants to buck Sato off and get back to his feet.
Sato can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Krom is looking to escape.
Krom is trying to stand up.
Sato lands a big elbow.

Sato looking to control but Krom is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Krom is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Sato is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Krom to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Krom shrugs it off.
The referee warns Krom that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Krom is desperately trying to improve his position but Sato has a good base and remains in mount.
Sato throwing strikes here but Krom is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Katsuro Sato dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Sato counters with an outside leg kick.
Krom stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Krom wants it to stay on the feet.
Sato moves away from the strike by Krom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sato on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Sato shoots and misses
and Sato takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Krom is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Krom stuns Sato with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Sato swings away with a body shot that misses
and Krom makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Sato fails with the takedown
and Krom counters with a one-two to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Katsuro Sato. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A jab from Sato misses.
Krom waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Sato.

Sato doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
The fighters circling - Krom throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Sato takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Krom throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Sato has his takedown stuffed
and Krom counters with a three punch combo that has Sato backing up. Sato nods at Krom to acknowledge the strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Terry Krom showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Sato's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

and Sato counters with a single leg into guard. Krom didn't expect that.

Krom pushes Sato off and scrambles back to his feet.

Sloppy strikes from Krom. Those never looked like landing.
Krom slaps away a takedown attempt from Sato, before circling back to the center of the mat.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Krom lands a head shot.
Sato misses with an uppercut. Krom saw that one coming.
Sato avoids the body shot from Krom.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
No luck for Sato with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Katsuro Sato. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A jab from Krom misses.

Sato shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Krom's guard.

Krom manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sato manages to get himself to full guard.

Sato looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Krom would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Sato is controlling Krom's posture.
Krom wants to stand but Sato has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

I would just about give that final round to Terry Krom.
I think Krom has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
