Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Iron Vines (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ashford Lincoln (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Iron Vines has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Iron Vines seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vines ducks under a wild hook from Lincoln.
Lincoln looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Lincoln throws a left and a right that both miss

and Vines counters with a takedown into side control.
Lincoln is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Lincoln wants to get back to full guard.
Vines trying to control the action but Lincoln is working from the bottom.
Vines seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Vines throws a strike but Lincoln avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Vines throws and elbow that misses. Lincoln uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Vines's guard. Nice move by Lincoln!

Lincoln got a little sloppy there for a moment and Vines has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lincoln has managed to get both his arms back between Vines's legs - danger averted.

Lincoln has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Vines is proving hard to escape from.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lincoln wants to pass the guard but Vines is keeping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Vines looking for a guillotine here but Lincoln defends easily.
Lincoln is looking to stand up but Vines won't let him.

Vines is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Lincoln frees his head nicely. Oh but Vines has switched to an armbar! Lincoln is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
