Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Torka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Leks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, James Torka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Justin Leks!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Sam Margolis and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torka fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Leks misses with a jab, cross combination.

Torka darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Torka is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Leks defends it well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Torka is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Torka blocks a leg kick.
Leks misses with a looping left.
Torka shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Leks as he jumps to the side.
Horrible takedown by Torka or perhaps it was just good defense by Leks which made him look bad.

Torka avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Leks tries to bum rush Torka with a series of wild strikes but Torka uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Torka is fighting to break Leks's control of his arms but Leks is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Let's hope that Leks has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Torka fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Leks, pushing him back against the cage.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Torka checks a leg kick.
Torka tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Leks swivels and escapes.
Torka tries for a takedown but Leks sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Torka blocks a low kick nicely.
Leks looks to land a combination. Torka sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Torka tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Leks swivels and escapes.

Torka bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Torka drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Torka tries to free his leg and advance position but Leks is retaining full guard.

Torka cracks Leks with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Leks is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Torka is staying active.
Leks bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Torka is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Leks is controlling him.
Leks not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Torka throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Leks's waist but Leks gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Torka off to one side.
Leks throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Leks counters with a left and a right that stings Torka.

Torka seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Torka wants to free his trapped foot but Leks is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Leks is trying to maintain the position but Torka is very close to passing his half guard.

Justin Leks comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Leks winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
