Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marshall Humphries (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Humphries slips a jab and a cross from Stevens.
Stevens fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Humphries misses with a combination
and Stevens counters with a three punch combo that has Humphries backing up. Humphries nods at Stevens to acknowledge the strikes.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Humphries.
Stevens displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Stevens throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Humphries tries to move into range but Stevens moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Stevens leaves Humphries with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Stevens throws a series of punches but Humphries moves out of range.
Humphries changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stevens tries to avoid it but Humphries manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stevens to the ground. Stevens escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marshall Humphries. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stevens lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Stevens.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Humphries wants to clinch but Stevens slips to the side
letting Stevens counter with a right hand.
Humphries misses with a double jab

and Stevens counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Humphries!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Humphries is breathing heavily.

Stevens is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

Stevens takes the fight into the clinch.
Stevens has had enough of the clinch but Humphries keeps him there for the moment.

Stevens breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Humphries throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Stevens's waist but Stevens gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Humphries off to one side.
Stevens looks to land a combination but Humphries avoids it well.
Stevens lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Stevens clobbers Humphries with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Stevens scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Stevens scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Stevens pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Humphries back to the cage. Stevens follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Stevens lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Humphries circles away quickly and effectively.
Stevens throws a combination. Humphries tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Stevens drives through and clinches with Humphries against the cage.

Stevens manages to break the clinch.
Stevens closes the distance and lands a one-two.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stevens throws a series of punches but Humphries avoids them all with ease.
Stevens lands a body shot.
Stevens lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Stevens lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Humphries is rocked!
Stevens throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Humphries colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Stevens as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Humphries is left battered and dazed whilst Stevens and his camp cheer!
