Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nimith Luanglathay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spud McKenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nimith Luanglathay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Spud McKenzie!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Shimada and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Luanglathay shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Luanglathay showed some decent athleticism there.
McKenzie has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Luanglathay is working away from the top position though.
Luanglathay is pressing down on McKenzie's thigh, looking to free his foot. McKenzie is holding on for now.
McKenzie regains full guard. Nicely done.
Luanglathay is breathing heavily.

McKenzie looks like he's trying to stand up.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

McKenzie seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Luanglathay does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Luanglathay has left one of his arms exposed and McKenzie doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Luanglathay screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
