The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Costa misses with a head kick.
Costa throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Costa misses with the combination.
Costa pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Costa misses with a series of wild punches.
Costa thows a body shot but no joy.
Costa throws a right and a left that both miss.
Costa throws a nice looking combination but Drogo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Drogo throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Costa tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Drogo is in Costa's guard.
Drogo postures up in Costa's guard and throws a big left but Costa blocks it.
Costa being controlled here, momentarily.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Costa can do anything to dispel that myth.
Drogo advances position into side control!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Drogo scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Costa to see if he's OK.
Costa looks gassed!
Costa is trying to escape the position but Drogo is controlling the position.
Drogo in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Costa is working to avoid the ground and pound but Drogo connects with a decent elbow.
The referee asks Drogo politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Drogo prefers to stall for the moment though.
Costa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Drogo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Drogo advances to full mount.

Drogo is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Costa can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Drogo can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Costa is looking to escape.
Drogo scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Costa is still in real trouble! Can Drogo finish him?
Drogo could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Oooh a big shot lands for Drogo! Costa is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!
