Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vurak Vobrisa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vobrisa comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Knife - Pass This On (Live) kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Vurak Vobrisa is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vobrisa throws a right and a left that Silva avoids nicely.
Vobrisa dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Vobrisa darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Silva tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Vobrisa swivels and escapes.

No joy there for Vobrisa, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Vobrisa lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Vobrisa lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Silva circles away quickly and effectively.
Vurak Vobrisa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vobrisa throws a hook to the side of Silva's head but Silva sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Vobrisa throws a combination. Silva tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Vobrisa misses the shot to the body.
Silva tries for a takedown but Vobrisa sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Silva's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Vobrisa connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Silva scrambles back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Vobrisa lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Silva circles away quickly and effectively.
Vobrisa throws a series of punches but Silva moves out of range.
Vurak Vobrisa is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Silva tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Vobrisa swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anderson Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Vobrisa closes the distance and lands a one-two.
