Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dominic Harris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rutledge Vanderhorst!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris misses with a kick to the body
and Vanderhorst counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Vanderhorst misses with a looping left.
Vanderhorst throws a body punch but Harris moves out of range.
Vanderhorst gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Harris counters with a three punch combo that has Vanderhorst backing up. Vanderhorst nods at Harris to acknowledge the strikes.
Vanderhorst tried to score with a low kick but Harris checks it.

Vanderhorst shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Harris but Harris pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Both fighters circling a little - Vanderhorst finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Vanderhorst throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

and Vanderhorst counters with a straight right hand.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Harris crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Vanderhorst - the referee stops the clock and Harris gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Vanderhorst. Harris manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Harris is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Rutledge Vanderhorst seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Harris.
Harris connects with a right hand. Vanderhorst shakes it off.
Harris turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Harris feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Vanderhorsts jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

and Harris counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Vanderhorst tries a head kick but it misses.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Vanderhorst might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Harris has got the better of the exchanges.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
