Desjardins comes to the ring accompanied by Bob Marley - I Shot The Sheriff. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ticket with a lazy takedown attempt
and Desjardins counters with a thumping low kick.
Desjardins tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Ticket is able to avoid easily.
Parking Ticket seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ticket misses with a takedown
enabling Desjardins to counter with a crisp jab.
Jonathan Desjardins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Parking Ticket.
Ticket shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Desjardins counters with a nice low kick that buckles Ticket's knee momentarily.

Desjardins really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Some bone on bone action there as Ticket checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Ticket tries for a takedown but Desjardins circles away easily
and Desjardins counters with a slapping leg kick.
Desjardins tries to land a front kick but Ticket steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Desjardins throws a front kick aimed at Ticket's knee but Ticket avoids it well.

A looping hook to the body misses from Desjardins. Ticket does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ticket uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Desjardins.
Desjardins swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Desjardins throws a leg kick but Ticket sees it coming and moves out of range.
Desjardins throws a chopping leg kick but Ticket manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Ticket keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Desjardins.
Desjardins tries to score with a low kick but Ticket moves his leg out of the way.
Desjardins looks for the body kick but Ticket saw that one coming.
Ticket shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Desjardins sprawls well. Desjardins wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ticket gets slowly back to his feet.

Desjardins bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Desjardins is working to tighten is grip on Ticket's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Ticket has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Desjardins is really squeezing tight and eventually Ticket passes out! Desjardins breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
