The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fowler throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Richmond Junior was covering up waiting for the punch and Fowler finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Fowler avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Fowler would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Fowler gets to his feet - Richmond Junior follows without any prompting.
Fowler fails with an attempt to clinch.

and Fowler counters with a shoot takedown. Richmond Junior fights it but they end up in guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Richard Richmond Junior hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
