Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terrell Hayes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

King shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Hayes is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. King is aware though and is defending well.

Hayes has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but King can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
King trying to control but Hayes is working from the bottom.
Hayes looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
King has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
King would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

King works a leg free and moves into half guard.
King seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hayes does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hayes is pressing down on King's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
King could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Hayes has his foot on King's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. King works his way back into a safe position though.
King working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
King knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hayes on the ground.

Hayes had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. King defends it easily.

and Hayes counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hayes.
King is breathing heavily.

Hayes passes King's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Hayes drops an elbow to the side of King's head.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hayes is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. King is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. King flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Hayes anticipates the leg and manages to get behind King and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Hayes slips an arm under King chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Hayes has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Hayes is squeezing on King like an anaconda would it's prey. King fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
