The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

SauruS forces Taylor back against the cage and clinches.
Taylor looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
SauruS is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Taylor gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Taylor is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Taylor wants to get back to striking at distance but SauruS won't allow it.

SauruS drags the fight down to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Taylor is looking to stand up but SauruS won't let him.

Taylor avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Taylor throws and elbow that misses. SauruS uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Taylor's guard. Nice move by SauruS!

Taylor tries to get to full guard but SauruS has control of the leg.

SauruS is looking to advance position but Taylor won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
SauruS passes the guard and advances to mount!

SauruS jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Taylor manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Taylor is looking for a sweep.
SauruS working away.
Taylor tries to improve position but can't.

Taylor pushes SauruS away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, SauruS gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Taylor is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

SauruS has hold of Taylor's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Taylor tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - SauruS cranks the arm and Taylor screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Taylor, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
