The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Hopo. Pedroseli does a little dance to reset his feet.
Pedroseli takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Hopo throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Pedroseli swings widly with a right hand

and Hopo counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Pedroseli avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Hopo.
Hopo scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Hopo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Pedroseli's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hopo working over Pedroseli with some ground and pound. Pedroseli looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hopo is pressing down on Pedroseli's thigh, looking to free his foot. Pedroseli is holding on for now.

Hopo seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Pedroseli is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
