The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirby shoots for a double leg takedown but Morks sprawls well. He's pushed Kirby's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Morks displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kirby.
Kirby shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Morks as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jakey Kirby. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Morks throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Kirby looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Morks defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kirby.

Kirby shoots in for a double leg but Morks sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kirby shoots in for a takedown but Morks shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Kirby is breathing heavily.
Kirby misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Morks drops his shoulder and cracks Kirby with a huge uppercut! Kirby goes down! Can Morks finish him?

It looks like Jakey Kirby has been cut.
Morks tries to stand but Kirby is controlling from the bottom.

Morks decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Kirby tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Morks swivels and escapes.
Morks misses with a double jab.
Jakey Kirby seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kirby will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kirby's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Morks connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kirby scrambles back to his feet.

Kirby wants to stay close but Morks steps back to make room for something. Kirby seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Morks and Kirby drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
