Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carl Irwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lycan Warvick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lycan Warvick will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Warvick gets caught flat footed, as Irwin shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Irwin is stalling in the full guard.

Irwin drops back looking for a leg! Warvick is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Warvick manages to kick Irwin off! Irwin jumps back into Warvick's guard.

Irwin stands up from Warvick's guard - Irwin perhaps looking for a knockout.

Warvick lands a body shot.
Warvick tries to clinch but Irwin is having none of it.
Warvick is looking to clinch but Irwin is avoiding it.
Irwin looks to land a body kick but Warvick moved away.
Carl Irwin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Warvick counters with a nice body shot.

and Irwin counters with a nice double leg into side control. Warvick won't be happy with that.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Warvick can do anything to dispel that myth.

Irwin pushes off an throws an elbow but Warvick leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Irwin shoots in looking for a takedown but Warvick manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Irwin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Irwin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Warvick pinned against the cage. Warvick gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Irwin fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Warvick avoids it really well and circles away.

That was a close second round but I would say that Carl Irwin will probably get the nod.
