Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ken Masters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rol Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ken Masters!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rol Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie dodges the punch combination from Masters.
Ken Masters seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie has his takedown stuffed
and Masters cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Masters lands an overhand right.
Masters tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gracie was well out of range. Poor timing from Masters.
Masters scores with a nice right hand.
Masters lands a nice looking body shot.
The fighters circle momentarily. Masters darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Jab by Masters.
Gracie takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sloppy strikes from Masters. Those never looked like landing.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Masters, as that shot connected.
Masters scores with a nice strike.
The crowd cheers as Masters lands an impressive looking overhand right. Gracie doesn't seem phased though.
Masters lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Masters ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gracie moves away.
Gracie fails with the takedown
and Masters counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Masters scores with a three punch combo!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Masters stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Masters wants it to stay on the feet.
Ken Masters has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rol Gracie.
Masters lands a jab to Gracie's midsection.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Masters digs a good hook to Gracie's body.

Masters changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
A left and a right from Masters both land. Nice combination.
Masters lands a right hook to the body.
Masters fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gracie looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Masters lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Gracie is trying desperately to land a takedown but Masters is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Gracie.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Masters dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Gracie on the wrong end of a nice hook.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Masters works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Masters displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Masters connects with a single shot there.
Masters connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Gracie's hands.
Masters lands a nice shot to the body.
Masters goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Gracie takes one to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ken Masters dominated that round.
That's time! Masters's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Masters dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Gracie dives in and scores a takedown into Masters's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Gracie won't allow Masters to sweep him here.
Masters knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground.
Masters looking to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Masters is keeping the position for now.

Gracie is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Masters can't keep his opponent in guard - Gracie advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Gracie is working for a submission of some sort.

Gracie has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Masters defend it? Gracie steps over the head and cranks it - Masters is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Gracie!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Rol Gracie!
