Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lil Scrapy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Jacobson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scrapy's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Scrapy Do. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobson does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Jacobson wants to clinch but Scrapy slips to the side
and Scrapy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Jacobson wants to clinch up but Scrapy keeps it at a distance.
Scrapy misses with a series of wild punches.

Scrapy is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Scrapy lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Scrapy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Scrapy connects with a right hand. Jacobson shakes it off.

It looks like Jackson Jacobson has been cut.

and Scrapy counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Jacobson thinking.

Scrapy lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Jacobson misses with a combination
and Scrapy makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Scrapy scores with a hook to the body. Jacobson takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Jacobson motions for Scrapy to come forward. Jacobson throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Scrapy lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Jacobson backs up against the cage.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jacobson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Scrapy counters with a series of strikes. Jacobson will be more careful next time no doubt.

Scrapy avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jacobson takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Scrapy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Jacobson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Scrapy but Scrapy pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Jacobson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Scrapy to score with a decent uppercut.

Scrapy displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jacobson.
Jacobson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Scrapy throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jacobson.
Jacobson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Scrapy circles away quickly and effectively.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Jacobson enables Scrapy to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jacobson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Scrapy is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Scrapy wants to pass the guard but Jacobson is keeping the position.

Scrapy drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jacobson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jacobson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jacobson!
Scrapy manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Jacobson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Scrapy defends it well.
Scrapy moves into full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jacobson looking to sit in guard and control but Scrapy gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Scrapy won't allow Jacobson to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jacobson tries to close the distance and clinch but Scrapy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Scrapy changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jacobson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
