The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shirou Masuda and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seong Gyeong tries for a takedown but Carter sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Seong Gyeong throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Carter's waist but Carter gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Seong Gyeong off to one side.
Carter lands a really nice looking cross but Seong Gyeong seems unphased.
Seong Gyeong shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Carter defends it nicely.
Jeff Carter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hwang Seong Gyeong.
Carter connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Seong Gyeong momentarily.
Carter lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Seong Gyeong tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Carter lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Carter displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Seong Gyeong.
Seong Gyeong throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Carter cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Decent striking displayed by Carter there.
Carter goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Hwang Seong Gyeong has been cut.
Carter has his takedown stuffed

and Seong Gyeong counters with a nice double leg into side control. Carter won't be happy with that.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Seong Gyeong is trying to get an arm triangle but Carter is defending well.

Carter tries to improve position but can't.

Seong Gyeong is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Carter is trying to escape and Seong Gyeong transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Carter is forced to tap! Nice work there by Seong Gyeong! Very nice indeed!
