Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Diablo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Auguste Rodin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Auguste Rodin will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Dmitry Maklakov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diablo with a lazy takedown attempt
and Rodin counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Diablo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Diablo is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Rodin is working for a kimura but Diablo is defending it quite comfortably.

Diablo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rodin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rodin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Rodin wants to control from the top but Diablo keeps moving.
Rodin would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Diablo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rodin gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Diablo stands and steps away. Rodin gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Diablo gets control of Rodin's arms and successfully pulls guard. Diablo will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Diablo is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Rodin has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Rodin!

That was a close second round but I would say that Pablo Diablo will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Rodin fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Diablo sprawls well initially but Rodin persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Rodin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
