Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Junior Castro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and You Lost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Junior Castro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, You Lost!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lost showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Castro.

Castro shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Lost napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Castro decides to stand back up. Castro steps back and let's Lost get back to his feet.
Castro ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Lost avoids a punch combination nicely.

Castro closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Lost's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Castro connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Lost scrambles back to his feet.


It looks like You Lost has been cut.

Lost shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Castro's guard.
Lost trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Lost throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Castro was covering up waiting for the punch and Lost finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Castro is looking to stand up but Lost isn't so interested in that idea.

Lost missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Lost slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Lost drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Castro manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Lost has Castro in his guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Lost thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Lost trying to control the action but Castro is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Castro is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Lost asserts his dominance and retains side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Lost shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lost showed some decent athleticism there.
Lost thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Lost is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Castro can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Lost throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Castro is looking to clinch but Lost is avoiding it.
Junior Castro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Castro fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lost sprawls well initially but Castro persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Lost flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Castro wants to pass the guard but Lost is defending well.

Lost is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Castro defends well.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Castro enables Lost to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Castro manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Lost passes into half guard.
Castro is refusing to be controlled, as Lost sits in half guard.
Lost wants to free his trapped foot but Castro is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Castro is pressing down on Lost's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Junior Castro will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on You Lost's cut.
That's time! Castro's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!



Lost feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Castro dodges the ground and pound from Lost.

Lost is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Castro looks calm but he's in trouble here. Lost gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Castro is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Lost lets go of the hold and Castro can pop his arm back in it's socket.
