Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Tarasov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tarasov has chosen Hollywood Undead - Hear Me Now as his entrance music. Chuck Norris has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tarasov looks to land a combination but Norris avoids it well.
No joy there for Norris, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tarasov misses with an uppercut. Norris saw that one coming.
Tarasov misses with a takedown attempt - Norris sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Norris throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

and Tarasov counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tarasov is defended easily by Norris.

Norris is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the ropes but Tarasov has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Tarasov is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Norris is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Norris tries to bench press Tarasov off him but Tarasov keeps the position.

Tarasov goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Norris has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Tarasov but great work by Norris.

It looks like Ivan Tarasov has been cut.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Norris lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Tarasov down.
Tarasov takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

That has opened up Ivan Tarasov's cut even more.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Norris wants to control but Tarasov is keeping him busy.
Tarasov is looking to reverse the position.
Tarasov manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Tarasov is looking for submissions but instead, Norris has regained full guard.

Tarasov is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Tarasov drops back looking for a leg! Norris is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Norris manages to kick Tarasov off! Tarasov jumps back into Norris's guard.
Tarasov wants to pass the guard but Norris is keeping the position.

Tarasov had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Norris defends it easily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

and Norris makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Tarasov really felt that one!
Chuck Norris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Tarasov.

The cut above Ivan Tarasov's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Tarasov throws a hook but Norris avoids it easily.
Tarasov shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Norris throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Tarasov has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Tarasov tries to work over Norris's front leg with a kick but Norris checks it.
Norris moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Norris moves in looking to clinch but Tarasov pushes him off.

Norris throws a powerful right kick. Tarasov tried to block low but the kick was high! Tarasov was taken right off of his feet! Norris jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
