Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Justin Stein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bernardo Mocoh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mocoh keeps the fight on the outside.
Mocoh shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Justin Stein seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Stein scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Stein throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Stein cracks Mocoh with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Mocoh manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Stein is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Stein is trying to stand.
Mocoh tries to pass the half guard into mount. Stein knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Mocoh seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Stein does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Stein is refusing to be controlled, as Mocoh sits in half guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Stein is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Stein lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Stein.
Mocoh blocks a head kick by Stein.
Stein connects with a good right hand that stumbles Mocoh. Mocoh circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Stein closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stein throwing shots but Mocoh is blocking nicely.
The fighters are battling for position here. Mocoh manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Stein tries to free his leg and advance position but Mocoh is retaining full guard.

Mocoh working for a triangle but Stein defends it easily.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Mocoh is on top in guard.

Stein keeping moving, preventing Mocoh from controlling successfully.

Mocoh drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mocoh jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Stein can't keep his opponent in guard - Mocoh advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Stein is defending against the submission attempts here by Mocoh.
Stein is trying to stand up here but Mocoh is controlling him well.

Mocoh is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Stein defends it well.
Stein wants to control but Mocoh is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Stein tries to kick Mocoh off in order to stand up. Mocoh Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Mocoh moves into full mount!

Mocoh jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Stein manages to avoid the submission attempt.
You can see the frustration on Stein's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Stein tries to bench press Mocoh off him but Mocoh keeps the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Mocoh is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Stein is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Stein is looking to reverse the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mocoh lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Stein!

Stein drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Stein is looking to take a break and control but Mocoh is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Stein stands up and beckons Mocoh to his feet.
Stein tries to bum rush Mocoh with a series of wild strikes but Mocoh uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Justin Stein has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bernardo Mocoh.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
