The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Countryman.
Countryman takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

It looks like Mini Countryman has been cut.
Greyjoy misses with a hook.
Countryman throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Countryman pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Greyjoy stuffs the takedown.
Greyjoy swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Greyjoy scores with a shot to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Greyjoy lands a left and a right that send Countryman crashing to the mat, dazed. Greyjoy thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Countryman wants to clinch up but Greyjoy keeps it at a distance.

Countryman looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Countryman is keen to just control but Greyjoy is a slippery customer.
Greyjoy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Countryman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Greyjoy is looking for a sweep. Countryman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Countryman wants to take a breather but Greyjoy is having none of it.

Countryman is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Countryman wants to pass to mount but Greyjoy is defending the position.

Countryman is working for a kimura but Greyjoy is defending it quite comfortably.

Countryman looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Countryman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Greyjoy is just riding it out for now. Countryman eventually gives up the hold.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Countryman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Countryman drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Countryman jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Countryman looking to sit in guard and control but Greyjoy gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Countryman is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Greyjoy misses with a body shot.
Countryman throws a head kick but Greyjoy moves out of range.
Greyjoy throws a series of punches but Countryman avoids them all with ease.
No luck for Countryman with that takedown attempt.
Countryman moves away from the strike by Greyjoy.
Greyjoy looks to score with a jab to the body but Countryman is just out of range.
Mini Countryman is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Countryman fails with an attempt to clinch.

Greyjoy will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Greyjoy fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Countryman on the side of the head.
Greyjoy changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Greyjoy throws a right and a left that both miss.

Horrible takedown by Countryman or perhaps it was just good defense by Greyjoy which made him look bad.
Greyjoy is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Countryman rather than just go for the knockout.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Greyjoy swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Countryman.
Greyjoy throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Countryman sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Countryman dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Greyjoy. That did some damage!
Greyjoy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Countryman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Greyjoy swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Countryman has his takedown stuffed
and Greyjoy counters with a nice body shot.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mini Countryman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Greyjoy connects with the punch.

Mini Countryman's cut is getting worse.

Oooooh!!! Greyjoy has knocked Countryman down with a huge combo! Greyjoy steps away and waves a wobbly Countryman back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Countryman is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Greyjoy lands a nice shot to the body.
Oh Countryman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A shot to the liver by Greyjoy. Beautiful body shot.
Countryman drops his hands for a split second and Greyjoy immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Countryman face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Greyjoy follows up with a right hand that knocks Countryman into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
