PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pietro Rava (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Octo Pus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rava comes to the ring accompanied by Blue October - Drilled a Wire through my cheek. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pietro Rava!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Octo Pus!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rava does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Rava moves into the clinch.
Rava connects with a nasty looking knee right to Pus's face.

It looks like Octo Pus has been cut.
Rava scores with a hook to the body.
Pus drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Rava gets the underhooks and prevents it.
A short right from Rava.

Pus is rocked!
Rava slowing the pace effectively.
Rava gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Pus is still on wobbly legs! Can Rava finish him?
Rava lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Pus backwards.
Pus tries for a takedown but Rava manages to get underhooks.
Pus can't get the takedown.
Pietro Rava has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Octo Pus.
The fighters are pressed against the ropes, as the pace of the fight slows.
Rava lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Pus backwards.
Rava throws a big uppercut that drops Pus! More strikes from Rava and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Pus lies dazed against the ropes as Rava celebrates with his cornermen!
