The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joe lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Joe tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Sleuth counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sleuth is nestled in close to Joe, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Sleuth looks to land a strike but Joe avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Joe avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Joe is looking for a triangle but Sleuth pushes his legs off easily.
Sleuth might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Sleuth postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
