Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dan Skinner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rex Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyler comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Last of the Mohicans kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rex Tyler has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Skinner decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Skinner blocks the strikes from Tyler.

Tyler is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Skinner pulls his head out easily.

Tyler is positioning himself well to prevent Skinner advancing to mount.

Well, with Tyler on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Skinner is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
Tyler is trying to stick to Skinner's back but Skinner is turning into Tyler. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Tyler's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Skinner.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tyler wants to sweep here but Skinner controlling him for the moment.

Skinner got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tyler has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Skinner has managed to get both his arms back between Tyler's legs - danger averted.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Tyler is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Skinner is aware though and is defending well.

Skinner is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Tyler is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Tyler has escaped and now he's on top!

Skinner is really struggling to control Tyler but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Tyler manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Skinner manages to get himself to full guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Tyler drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Skinner manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Tyler has Skinner in his guard.
