Boorg's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Rock of Ages. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hicken doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Boorg finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

Boorg tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hicken paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hicken has taken the fight to the clinch.

It looks like Bret Hicken has been cut.

Boorg gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Hicken.
