Ashley has chosen The Last Dragon by Dwight David as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Winston Ashley enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ashley shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Ashley is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Dover to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Dover shrugs it off.

Ashley changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dover tries to avoid it but Ashley manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dover to the ground. Dover escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Dover comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Dover ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ashley moves away.

Horrible takedown by Ashley or perhaps it was just good defense by Dover which made him look bad.
Ashley fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ashley throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dover's waist but Dover gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ashley off to one side.
Dover lands with a straight right. Ashley didn't see that one coming.

Dover leaves Ashley with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dover throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dover throws a right hand that Ashley ducks under and follows up with a left that Ashley also avoids with ease.

so Ashley counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Ashley postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ashley wants to stand and escape but instead Dover has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Dover looking to sit in guard and control but Ashley gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Ashley would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Winston Ashley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Ashley ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Ashley will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Dover jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Dover, as that shot connected.

Ashley shoots for a double leg takedown but Dover sprawls well. He's pushed Ashley's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Dover throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Ashley dives in and scores a takedown into Dover's guard.
Winston Ashley has got the better of the ground game so far.
Ashley wanted to stand there but Dover had control of the position.

Ashley drops his hands momentarily and Dover takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Ashley shoots in looking for a takedown but Dover manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ashley's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

The crowd cheers as Dover lands an impressive looking overhand right. Ashley doesn't seem phased though.
