The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maurizio tries to bum rush Johnson with a series of wild strikes but Johnson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Johnson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Maurizio.
Maurizio defending well as Johnson loads up on a big left hand.
Nice takedown defense from Maurizio. No joy for Johnson on that attempt.
Maurizio wants to clinch.

Oooooh!!! Maurizio has knocked Johnson down with a huge combo! Maurizio steps away and waves a wobbly Johnson back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Rodrigo Johnson has been cut.
Johnson could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Maurizio lands a big head kick that sends Johnson tumbling to the mat! Maurizio takes a step backwards and waves Johnson back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Maurizio catches Johnson with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Johnson forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
