PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Fletcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Bowron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fletcher comes to the cage accompanied by Gallows - London is the reason. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Donald Grub and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fletcher closes the distance and pushes Bowron back into the cage.
Fletcher has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bowron is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Bowron gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Fletcher prevents a takedown attempt there.

Bowron jumps guard and drags Fletcher to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Bowron uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Bowron is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Fletcher has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Fletcher has momentary wrist control but Bowron slips an elbow through the middle.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bowron drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Bowron as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Fletcher screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Bowron! Nice submission victory there!
