Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Schoonie Singleton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Singleton gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Taylor trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Singleton utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Taylor wants to pass the guard but Singleton is keeping the position.
Taylor looking to sit in guard and control but Singleton gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Singleton drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Singleton jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Taylor thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Taylor is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Singleton moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Taylor stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Singleton swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Singleton had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Taylor defends it easily.

Taylor must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Taylor stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Singleton has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Taylor manages to get his head free but now Singleton has transitioned to an armbar! Taylor grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Singleton! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
