The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winner tries to clinch but Green moves away

and Green counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Green is in close to Winner's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Green working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Green with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Green lands a couple of digs.

Green throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Winner works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Winner wants to stand up but Green is controlling him.
Winner knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Green on the ground.

Green works over Winner with some ground and pound from guard.
Green working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Winner's head.
Green works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Green slips a nice elbow through Winner's hands, connecting with Winner's forehead.
Green throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Green takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Winner pushes Green off looking to stand but Green dives back in and keeps control.
Winner is breathing heavily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Green looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Winner with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Winner is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Green scores with a couple of nice shots.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Green lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Green is nestled in close to Winner, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Green seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Winner is rocked!
Green lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Winner quite badly. Winner pulls Green in close trying to recover. Green postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Winner on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Winner doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
