PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Chase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dalern Hardt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chase comes into the arena with Gangsta Gangsta blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chase misses with a double jab.
Hardt shoots in looking for a takedown. Chase tries to sprawl out of it but Hardt keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chase manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Chase got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hardt has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Chase has managed to get both his arms back between Hardt's legs - danger averted.

and Chase makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Hardt changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Chase tries to avoid it but Hardt manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chase to the ground. Chase escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Chase throws a right hand that Hardt ducks under and follows up with a left that Hardt also avoids with ease.

Hardt throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Chase's waist but Chase gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hardt off to one side.
Chase cracks Hardt with a good jab.
Hardt lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Chase circles away quickly and effectively.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Chase throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Chase pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Hardt back to the cage. Chase follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Dalern Hardt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hardt chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Chase can pounce on him.

Chase throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Hardt colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Chase as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Hardt is left battered and dazed whilst Chase and his camp cheer!
