Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Clay Hawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Luutch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawkins comes to the cage accompanied by GREG PERRY-IT TAKES HEART. The crowd seem to be enjoying Luutch's choice of entrance music: job2 do - doo doo doo. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawkins throws a body punch but Luutch moves out of range.
Hawkins stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Hawkins connects with a good right hand that stumbles Luutch. Luutch circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Luutch is looking to clinch.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Hawkins.
A punch combination from Hawkins misses.
Luutch tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hawkins swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Luutch tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hawkins paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hawkins throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Luutch ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Larry Luutch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Luutch gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Luutch keeps control of Hawkins as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Luutch gets through Hawkins's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Luutch tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Hawkins avoids it.

Hawkins's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Luutch tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Luutch drives through and clinches with Hawkins against the cage.
Luutch tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Luutch connects with a nasty looking knee right to Hawkins's face.
Luutch throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Hawkins blocks it with crossed arms.
Hawkins blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Luutch looking to throw knees to the head but Hawkins is blocking nicely.
Hawkins is trying to break free.
Hawkins misses with a short punch on the inside.

Hawkins manages to break the clinch.
Luutch tries to clinch up but Hawkins circles away and keeps his distance.

Hawkins lands with a straight right. Luutch didn't see that one coming.

It looks like Larry Luutch has been cut.
Luutch takes one on the button.

Luutch is rocked!
Luutch takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Luutch is still on wobbly legs! Can Hawkins finish him?
Hawkins steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Luutch is out on his feet! Hawkins sets himself and nearly takes Luutch's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
