Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dewight Bitsinni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jhe Christ Tirado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jhe Christ Tirado has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dewight Bitsinni!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jhe Christ Tirado!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Daniel Blasius and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bitsinni.

Tirado drives through with a takedown into Bitsinni's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Tirado seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
It looks like Tirado might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Bitsinni looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Tirado looking to pass the guard.
Tirado is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Bitsinni on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bitsinni tries to get out of the position.

Jhe Christ Tirado has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Tirado enables Bitsinni to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Tirado manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tirado is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Tirado pushes Bitsinni off and gets back to his feet.

Tirado shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bitsinni napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Tirado is staying tight to Bitsinni's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Tirado thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Bitsinni seems a little lost for a moment, as Tirado dominates the positioning.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bitsinni is trying to improve his position.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Tirado is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bitsinni is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Bitsinni is letting Tirado control him for a moment.
Bitsinni tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Bitsinni wants to control but Tirado postures up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Tirado is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bitsinni has escaped the position, nice work there.

Tirado goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Bitsinni rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Tirado's guard! Nice work there by Bitsinni!
Bitsinni is breathing heavily.

Tirado scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Bitsinni has his takedown stuffed

and Tirado counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Tirado is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Bitsinni is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Tirado is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Bitsinni is trying to maintain the position but Tirado is very close to passing his half guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jhe Christ Tirado.
Tirado shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bitsinni sprawls well. Bitsinni wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tirado gets slowly back to his feet.

Tirado changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bitsinni looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bitsinni is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Tirado is controlling him well.
A lull in the action here as Tirado stalls from top position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Tirado in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Bitsinni is tapping! That's the end of the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jhe Christ Tirado!
