The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zhukov fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Zhukov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Zhukov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mcghee moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Mcghee shoots in for a takedown but Zhukov shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Mcghee shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Mcghee was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Mcghee has hold of Zhukov's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Zhukov manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Mcghee working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Mcghee jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Zhukov manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Zhukov prevents Mcghee from improving position.
Zhukov is trying to get back to half guard.
Mcghee has an Americana. Zhukov didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Mcghee is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Mcghee hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
