Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Combs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Combs has chosen Break Stuff as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Couture instigates a clinch.

Combs works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Combs's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Couture doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Combs works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Combs uses his free foot to push down on Couture's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Couture.

Combs looking to secure an arm triangle but Couture defends it well.
Combs has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Couture flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Couture throws a strike but has given up his back in the process.
You can see the frustration on Couture's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Couture covers up after that shot from Combs.

Combs is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Couture with him. Couture is trying to defend but Combs has an arm under the chin now! Couture grimaces and is forced to tap out!
