Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Corey Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sony Toshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Toshi comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Wu Tang Clan- Click Click kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Corey Williams has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams misses with an uppercut.
Williams tries to bum rush Toshi with a series of wild strikes but Toshi uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sony Toshi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Toshi shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Williams as he jumps to the side.
A chopping leg kick lands by Williams.
Toshi on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Williams displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Toshi.

Good leg kick by Williams there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Corey Williams is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Williams connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Toshi's hands.
Toshi is still on wobbly legs! Can Williams finish him?
Donk. Williams catches Toshi right on the button with a cross.
Toshi drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Toshi looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Toshi seems to have recovered his senses.
Toshi takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Williams scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Toshi doesn't seem bothered though.

Williams pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Williams lands with a hook. Toshi tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Williams scores with the left hand. Toshi knows he should have avoided that one.
Williams punishes Toshi's body with a nice straight punch.
Toshi chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Williams can pounce on him.
Toshi stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Williams.
Toshi has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Williams.

Toshi tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Williams lands the left hand.

Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Williams!
Williams thuds a left hand into Toshi's body.
Toshi is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Williams.
A decent looking cross lands there for Williams.
Williams lands a leg kick that knocks Toshi off balance momentarily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Toshi takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Toshi takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Williams fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Toshi has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Corey Williams is winning the standup battle so far.
Toshi shoots in looking for a takedown but Williams manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Toshi's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Toshi's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

That kick from Williams tenderised Toshi's leg. Toshi is trying to keep his angry face on.

Williams goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Williams comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

and Williams counters with an outside leg kick.
Toshi needs to keep his hands up - Williams had a free shot at his head there.
Williams is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Toshi can do to turn this around?
Williams bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Toshi's head.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Williams lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Toshi shoots and misses
and Williams connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Toshi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Williams's waist but Williams gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Toshi off to one side.
A punch lands to the side of Toshi 's head but he takes it in his stride.

and Williams counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
