The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Price misses with a looping left.
Goro with a poor takedown
and Price counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Goro has his takedown stuffed
and Price counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Goro tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Price cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Yumi Goro has been cut.
Goro moves to clinch but Price breaks away
and Goro takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Price counters with a nice right hand that sends Goro toppling to the canvas! Goro scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Price finish him?!

Yumi Goro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Goro shoots in but Price avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yumi Goro. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Price throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Goro counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Price thinking.
Price misses with an uppercut
and Goro counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Price is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Trevor Price is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Goro has Price up against the cage in a clinch.
Goro changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Price fights it off and pushes away nicely.

and Price counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Some bone on bone action there as Price checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Goro gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Price connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Price counters with a crisp right hand that drops Goro! Price lets Goro back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

and Price counters with a huge left! Goro is in big trouble! He's backing up but Price isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Goro from any more damage. A dominating finish by Price!
