Tavarius kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Judas Priest - You've Got Another Thing Coming. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tavarius slips a jab and a cross from Cordero.
Cordero misses with a hook.
Rikki Tavarius seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tavarius avoids a punch combination nicely.
Tavarius displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cordero throws out the jab.
Tavarius tries to close the distance and clinch but Cordero swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Cordero throws a hook to the side of Tavarius's head but Tavarius sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Tavarius looks to land a left hand but Cordero moved out of range nicely.
Cordero slips a jab from Tavarius.
Cordero lands with a nice combination. Tavarius backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Rikki Tavarius has been cut.
Tavarius misses with a hook
and Cordero connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Tavarius is rocked!
Cordero throws a right and a left that both miss.
Oh Tavarius is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cordero circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Tavarius to the canvas! Tavarius doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Cordero keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
