Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jose Alberto Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alberto Jr's entrance music is Three 6 Mafia - It's a Fight. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardy throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Alberto Jr throws an overhand right that lands on Hardy's shoulder, as Hardy tries to avoid the shot.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hardy with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Alberto Jr to score with a decent uppercut.
Dan Hardy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hardy tries to move into range but Alberto Jr moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Hardy closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Alberto Jr cracks Hardy with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Hardy tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Alberto Jr pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Hardy is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
