Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Spartacus Thracian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerry Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thracian comes to the cage accompanied by I am Spartacus!!! I stand alone . The crowd seem to be enjoying Kelly's choice of entrance music: Power - Kanye West. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 0 - 1, fighting out of New York, Spartacus Thracian!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gerry Kelly!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Chad Campbell and Joseph Jones.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Kelly. Thracian does a little dance to reset his feet.
Thracian closes the distance and clinches up with Kelly, looking for a takedown. Thracian pushes Kelly against the cage but Kelly circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kelly looks to land a left hand but Thracian moved out of range nicely.
Thracian checks a leg kick.
Thracian doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Thracian chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kelly can pounce on him.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Gerry Kelly hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Horrible takedown by Thracian or perhaps it was just good defense by Kelly which made him look bad.
Thracian tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kelly sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Thracian somewhat.

Thracian got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kelly has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Thracian has managed to get both his arms back between Kelly's legs - danger averted.

Well Kelly has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
