Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Kerr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tamanui Te Patu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kerr kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Scotland The Brave [Instrumental]. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tom Kerr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tamanui Te Patu!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Te Patu fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kerr manages to avoid it.

Kerr is fighting off a takedown attempt but Te Patu is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Kerr to the mat. Kerr regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Tamanui Te Patu showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Kerr throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
