The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tua scores with a crisp jab that stopped Silvia in his tracks.

Silvia drives through and clinches with Tua against the cage.
Silvia has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tua is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Tua lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Silvia looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Silvia is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Tua throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Silvia pushes off an throws an elbow but Tua leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tua pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Silvia takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Tua scores with the left hand. Silvia knows he should have avoided that one.

Tua sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Silvia's defenses. It connects perfectly with Silvia's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
